How to use: 1. Suction cup switch: Press the black switch on the back to firmly attach the sharpener to the table. Pull the switch up to separate the sharpener from the table. The soft rubber base ensures it won't damage the table. 2. Sharpen standard knife: Insert the blade fully and vertically into the appropriate sharpening slot at a 90-degree angle to the sharpener. Gently, with light pressure, pull the knife blade from heel to tip in the direction of indicator arrows. Repeat until the blade is sharp. Always pull the blade through the sharpening slot from heel to tip, avoiding back and forth motions. 3. Sharpen scissors: Place the sharpener near the edge of the table and press the switch. Make sure the beveled side of the blade is fully leaned against the CARBIDE blade. Draw the scissors from hinge to tip in the direction of indicator arrows. Note: As scissors blades are single-beveled, only sharpen the side of each blade that has a bevel. 4. Sharpen serration: Use No. 2 CERAMIC slot only to sharpen your serrated edge knife.
